My name is Felicia, a 20-something year old 4th year medical student, trying to find a hobby outside of studying and really don't expect anyone to follow this (or to find this). I am 5 feet and half inch tall (yes, that half inch matters!). The way I dress is NOT at all fashionable nor unique. In fact, it is rather dull. However, I do try to look professional while being comfortable. So, this journal documents what I wear in the hospital or clinic in different rotations.
Disclaimer: My clothes come from the mall and I rarely purchase name brand except for very good reasons. Do not expect eye-candy!
My rules for dressing for work:
1. No revealing clothes (too low cut, too short, etc)
2. No skin tight clothes
3. No bare shoulders
4. No open toe shoes (too dangerous in the medical field and I consider it too unprofessional)
5. No flashy clothes
6. No trendy clothes
7. No dangly earrings in surgery
8. Comfortable shoes
